Holiday coverage is required; however, any RTO during holidays must remain flexible to accommodate staffing demands. Travel experience highly preferred, may consider no travel if more perm experience Information regarding observation unit: 10 bed ER overflow ratios 1:6 at night; 1:5 at days Focus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.

Floating requirement: will float to other Med Surg units Weekend requirement: will work every other weekend. Information regarding the other Med Surg units: we all see a good mix of medical patients. Staffing ratio 1:5-6 for nights Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e

RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc). Other requirements: must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs etc.) Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time Michigan RN license BLS (AHA) Minimum 1+ year required.
