Travel experience highly preferred, may consider no travel if more perm experience. Information regarding observation unit: 10 bed ER overflow ratios 1:6 at night; 1:5 us of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients. Floating requirement: will float to other med surg units. Weekend requirement: will work every other weekend. Information regarding the other med surg units: we all see a good mix of medical patients.
Staffing ratio 1:5-6 for nights. Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances. Variety of staff work on this unit and other med/surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, techs, etc). Other requirements: must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, techs etc.) Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time.
Michigan RN license BLS (AHA) minimum 1+ year required.
