Must-Have: OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery experience required. No requested time off for the first two weeks of the contract. Patient ratios follow established guidelines. Must be willing to work in all areas of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP). Weekend commitment required; must work every other weekend. Must be flexible with holiday coverage and scheduling needs. Will float to other units and facilities as required.
Description:
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery environment. The role includes providing antepartum, labor and delivery, operating room circulating, scrub nursing, newborn nursing at delivery, and couplet care. Nurses will perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns. Training will be provided to complete newborn infant hearing screens. The unit consists of 15 beds, three triage bays, and two operating rooms.
Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Nurses are expected to work cohesively with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs and unit demands.
