Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Battle Creek, MI

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Up to 26 Weeks

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of a 15-bed LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub, newborn care at delivery, and couplet care
• Perform FHM triage and circulate in the operating room as required
• Conduct lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens using the ALGO 5 machine
• Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines to maintain appropriate patient ratios
• Provide holiday coverage and work every other weekend as required
• Float within the facility as a sitter when needed and to a sister campus (approximately 27 miles) based on census and need

• Active, valid Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
• Required skills:
  
  OR circulating and FHM triage
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Supervisor-level references required

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• Scrub nurse experience

• Work in a well-equipped LDRP unit featuring 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms, with scrubs provided
• Gain cross-functional experience across the full continuum of obstetric and newborn care, including training on newborn infant hearing screens
