Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Battle Creek, MI

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Up to 26 Weeks | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of a 15-bed LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, couplet care, and triage
• Perform OR circulating and scrub nurse duties as well as newborn nursing at delivery
• Conduct lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens using designated equipment
• Float within the facility as a sitter when census and need require
• Float to an additional affiliated labor and delivery and mother-baby unit when census and need arise

• Valid Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
• Required skills:
  
  OR circulating and fetal heart monitoring (FHM) triage
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic documentation
• Supervisor-level references required

• AWHONN Advanced certification
• Scrub nurse experience

• Scrubs provided; staffing follows AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
• Training provided for newborn infant hearing screen completion
