The Certified Nursing Assistant cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

The essential functions of this position include the following.

- Provide direct resident care, includingassistancewith bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oralhygieneand feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs, weight,percentage of meal consumed intake/output as directed.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable.
- Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff.
- Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort
- Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation andin accordance with facility procedures
- Follow infection control,safety,and universal precaution guideline sat all times.

Experience:
- High School Graduate/GED
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within
120 daysof employment; nameentered intostate nurse aide registry.
