Overview

DK Security is Michigan’s fastest growing security company. Established in 1995, we began as an investigations firm and quickly expanded to provide uniform security, event staff security, loss prevention services, and much more based on the needs of our clients. DK Security provides opportunities to grow professionally in a team environment.

$17 to $19 per hour

• Local Academy – 1 Part Time , M-W and 1 PT , Th-F
• Local State Government Building – 1 Part Time  on Wednesday;  Thursday through Friday

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Use multiple computer applications daily.
• Provide information and assistance regarding emergency, security, and general assistance needs.
• Follow dispatch procedures for emergency and non-emergency response.
• Follow procedures and policies to uphold compliance for regulatory needs.
• Monitor CCTV system and conduct daily checks on camera functionality, reporting maintenance needs.
• Operate and test computerized and electronic equipment for access control, fire, and security systems, including data entry responsibilities.
• Create and maintain reports and files; assist with updates.
• Multi‑task and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Follow site‑specific posting guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good moral character and clearance of criminal background check (no felony or specified misdemeanor convictions).
• Pass drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
• Friendly, positive professional image in line with the Appearance and Grooming policy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Read and write English and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clean driving record with fewer than 3 moving violations and fewer than 2 at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• Physical requirements:
  
  physically and mentally sound; use hands and fingers; reach with hands; hold objects; sit, stand, or walk 8–12 hour shifts, walk long distances, and use stairs; respond to emergencies; work indoors or outdoors in all seasons; hear conversations in noisy environments; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

High School Diploma or GED.
