Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic II with limited supervision, inspects, tests, adjusts, repairs and performs other tasks related to complicated maintenance and repairs of company vehicles, fuel trucks, and equipment in a safe and organized work area. In addition completes appropriate and accurate documentation in a timely manner.
The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic II interacts positively with company personnel to foster a company-wide environment of teamwork; participates in personal and leadership development opportunities; and demonstrates leadership and professionalism at all times.
Essential Job Functions- Licenses/Certificates: Manlift, Scissor lift, and Forklift certifications. Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
- Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required: on-call 24/7.
- Physical: Routinely up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs; reads small print and identifies colors; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products and material associated with facilities and building maintenance; tolerates standing; walking bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting.
- Environmental: Tolerates working noisy environments, extreme temperatures.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Two years related mechanical experience required.
- ASE certification(s) preferred.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools required.
