Are you a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a knack for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Journeyman Electrician for our 2nd or 3rd shift. This role requires a keen understanding of equipment maintenance, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the facility does not deteriorate.
2. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
4. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
5. Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and component replacement on electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
6. Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to perform necessary tasks.
7. Utilize CMMS platform and software for maintenance tracking and documentation.
8. Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
10. Assist in other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Journeyman Electrician License required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
5.

Experience with CMMS platform and software.
6. Solid understanding and experience with preventive maintenance procedures.
7. Knowledge and experience with electrical systems and PLC.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels of the organization.
11. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
12. Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
13. Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including every other weekend.
14. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
