Vocational Services Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Vocational Services Coordinator provides leadership to the Business Services Team in delivering human services programs to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The coordinator supervises vocational service staff, manages a small caseload of clients, and ensures compliance with Peckham and CARF standards.
Eligible for a $3,000 sign‑on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and supervision for all human service program operations within Peckham’s Business Services.
- Support and supervise Business Service staff through coaching, training, goal setting, encouragement, and feedback.
- Collaborate with Business Services Management to deliver high‑quality employment services while meeting business needs.
- Offer clinical consultation to staff for effective service plan development, progress tracking, and outcome achievement.
- Supervise maintenance of case file records, program evaluation data, and quality documents.
- Lead direct vocational evaluation, situational assessment, and work adjustment training for referred participants.
- Deliver person‑centered case management and individualized program plans, incorporating vocational goals, strengths, interests, functional limitations, and assistive technology.
- Process initial intake documents and maintain electronic case files.
- Provide one‑on‑one counseling, coaching, and training as needed.
- Support human resources functions, including new hire orientation, FMLA management, and corrective action support.
- Analyze client, community, and referral source needs to improve service quality.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, agencies, families, and stakeholders.
- Advance continuous improvement in program design, service delivery, and customer service.
- Facilitate effective communication between services, operations teams, and headquarters.
- Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention for participants as required.
- Promote Peckham’s vision, values, culture, and commitment to customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
The position oversees staff positions within the Business Services Team.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment in vocational, workforce development, human services, or case management settings.
- 1–2 years of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
- Knowledge of program compliance requirements, including documentation, audits, or reporting aligned with regulatory or accreditation standards.
- Master’s degree (M.A.) in Rehabilitation Counseling.
- Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
- CPR and First Aid certification (may be obtained after hire).
