Harper Creek Community School is seeking a Transportation Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating all district transportation operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of students.
Full-year, 260-day exempt position with a salary of $58,000–$62,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
RequirementsEducation and/or Experience
- High School or GED.
- Prefer someone with a minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a school transportation environment.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid Michigan drivers license with a positive driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification as required by the State of Michigan for a school transportation supervisor.
- Ability to obtain a CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- Pass MDOT physical examination
- Successfully complete criminal background checks as required by law
- Cover Letter and resume including a review of experience appropriate to the position.
- Up-to-date credentials including at least two (2) recent letters of recommendation.
- Transcript of Degree and/or Certification(s)
