PAY: Starting at $17.88 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Warehouse leads oversee the supply chain process in distribution centers, liaise with customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees and their performance, and ensure that safety regulations are met. Warehouse leads typically work shifts which can include early starts, late finishes, and weekends. During busy periods, there may be a need to work overtime. People in this role should have a commitment to getting tasks completed and a hands-on approach to work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices.

Assists warehouse supervisors with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.

Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised.

Supervises inventory control process.

Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.

Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders.

Schedules equipment maintenance as required.

Coordinates with the warehouse supervisors to manage personnel issues and requests.

Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.

Performs administrative tasks as necessary.

Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.

Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Ensures timely delivery of supplies to all departments.

Ensures that all goods are undamaged and in good condition, before delivering items to departments.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

An applicant’s education, training and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the ability to successfully perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities error free. The requirements listed below are generally representative of the education, experience, and skills and/or abilities required to enable one to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities:

Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.

Two years related experience or equivalent. Strong inventory control skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices. Experience in Excel, Word and computerized material management systems preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified. High School diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
