Position SummaryWe are looking to add a full-time individual to our staff who can handle the complete order lifecycle — from receiving inventory and fulfilling orders in our warehouse, to replying to customer inquiries and tracking order status through delivery. This is a hybrid role that combines warehouse operations with customer service, making you the key liaison between our manufacturers and our end customers.
We will train the right candidate on our order management system.
Customer Service & Order Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Monitor email regularly and respond quickly, with some flexibility to follow up on immediate client needs outside standard hours
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Serve as the liaison between manufacturers and end customers
- Process order fulfillment accurately and efficiently through our order management system
- Handle returns processing, including authorizations, tracking, and coordinating replacements or refunds
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments from manufacturers
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts
- Organize and maintain warehouse space to support efficient operations
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move inventory (certification required)
- Inspect, sort, and process returned merchandise, restocking or routing items as appropriate
- Schedule LTL freight, address verification and negotiate accessorial charges with customers.
- Valid forklift certification required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with email and general computer/office applications
- Prior customer service experience required
- Prior experience with shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Comfortable learning new software; we will train you on our order management system
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
- Reliability, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
