Position SummaryThe full‑time Dental Assistant Trainee position is available at the Battle Ground Dental Clinic, located near Seattle, WA. The trainee will complete the dental assistant training program and assist with the delivery of dental services to clients. The role requires completion of the CA Training Program within the scheduled duration and agreement to provide service after training.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must:
- Operate in a manner that prevents employees/patients exposure to communicable diseases through proper infection control.
- Effectively communicate with patients and staff both verbally and in writing.
- Read and interpret basic written materials about dentistry.
- Communicate basic mathematical figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Participation in the Dental Assistant Program.
- Registration with the WA State Department of Health.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with use of computers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
