The job of a Special Program Para educator
- Special Education is done for the purpose/s of conducting various tasks/interventions to assist students with varying degrees of disabilities to meet their individual education plan goals and objectives under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher.

Job RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have an Associate's Degree OR 48 semester/72 quarter credits from an accredited college or university; OR passing score of 461 on the Para Pro Assessment. We can arrange for the Para Pro Assessment if needed.
- Experience in a special education classroom setting, is preferred.
- Knowledge of programs and services for students with disabilities.
- Ability to work with other staff in a variety of circumstances.
