Lead Production Operator
Location:
Brush Prairie, WA - Filling industrial
Pay: $28‑31 per hour plus shift differential.

- Ensure adherence to safety policies and use of personal protective equipment.
- Guide shift plant operators to meet cylinder goals and order fulfillment needs.
- Collaborate on plant activities to achieve operational efficiency and flow.
- Oversee daily workflow of cylinder retest.
- Assist loading and unloading of cylinders on pallets and tractor trailers.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Follow FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT guidelines applicable to compressed gases.
- Communicate frequently with Production Leadership on production efficiencies, product availability, and inventory.
- Provide training and mentorship for associates on pre‑filling, filling, loading, and unloading operations.
- Complete quality control process and required paperwork.
- Report equipment or facility defects to leadership immediately.
- Contribute proactively to facility improvements within budget and client communication.
- Foster a conducive environment with a diverse team.
- Promote safety practices among assigned team members; maintain neat, clean, orderly plant appearance.
- Perform any reasonable work request within qualifications but not specifically described.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and work in a drug‑free workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years industry‑related experience and/or training.
- Proficient in filling all gases.
- Proficient in forklift operation and maintain appropriate certifications.
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for explaining information to customers and employees.
