Production Operator

Location

Brush Prairie, WA

Hourly: $22.00 + performance bonus.

• Support the team by loading and unloading cylinders from inbound and outbound vehicles, including company‑owned and common‑carrier trucks.
• Operate forklift, hand‑truck, pallet‑jacks, and other material handling equipment to move compressed and liquid industrial gas cylinders to and from delivery trucks, filling, and storage areas.
• Inspect all cylinders for general condition, report discrepancies, and report any shortages or equipment defects to management.
• Stage cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling, adhering to instructions that minimize handling.
• Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from fill areas and in down‑grading pure product to ensure complete order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly plant appearance, including contributing to cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas.
• Attend and participate in all safety meetings and adhere to all safety and operational policies.
• Communicate equipment requests and maintenance needs to the Plant Manager in writing.
• Maintain consistent presence and punctuality, adhering to shift schedules unless prearranged with the direct manager.

• Must be able to operate in a drug‑free workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold forklift certification and maintain appropriate forklift operating certifications.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet customers’ needs and management expectations.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
