JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring a talented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this site, a warehouse worker plays an important role in the business's success. You would perform a range of functions that may include driving material from one location to another, processing of incoming stock/materials, and packing/filling orders. While doing these functions in the warehouse, we look for accuracy and efficiency to ensure the achievement of corporate and customers objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive delivery truck between warehouse and production facility. (CDL NOT required). Refuel truck and drive to service vendors as assigned.
- Complete pre-trip and periodic vehicle inspection according to established standards. Inspection includes but is not limited to lights, fluids, tires, and brake function.
- Obey all federal, state, and local rules of the road and other applicable law.
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing items in their correct location
- Properly picks and packs orders (as assigned) to be shipped according to company standards. Load and unload truck in a manner consistent with personal safety and product quality.
- Reliably retrieves items in the warehouse to be driven to another location
- Verifies and records incoming products (as assigned) accurately and efficiently
- Understands barcode technology and operates RF equipment as assigned
- Operates automated picking equipment, power conveyors, and forklifts as assigned
- Organize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to the company standards
- Maintain and report all safety procedures/issues
- Assists in maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse
- Consistently achieves or exceeds warehouse operational pick/pack/ship/receive volume and quality standards
- Positive attitude. Excellent time management and attendance performance
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips and instructions.
- Must be able to do basic arithmetic; skill levels normally acquired through the completion of high school.
- Must have basic computer and technology skills.
- Operates automated carts, forklifts, trucks, and other such machinery
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of Polaris products and parts preferred
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- This job requires you to lift up to 50 lbs individually or 75 lbs with a team lift.
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push-pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 9 hours per day
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for long periods of time and work primarily standing
- Standard fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to tolerate heights up to 26 feet
- During peak operational periods overtime may be required, including some weekends
- A large percentage of work time is spent in a production warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise level can be moderate to high.
$20.12 - $23.03
