Job SummaryThe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision metal and non-metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in producing high‑quality parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

- Precision Measuring Instruments and Inspection Equipment
- Review blueprints, sketches, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and part specifications.
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs.
- Adjust machine controls, speeds, feeds, and cutting depths to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Perform in‑process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Conduct test runs and troubleshoot machining issues to ensure proper machine performance.
- Replace and install machine components and verify proper operation following maintenance or repairs.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, supervisors, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve processes. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow all quality standards related to our Quality Management System (QMS), ISO requirements, and safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- GED or High School diploma
- Previous CNC machining, manual machining, manufacturing, technical training, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
