Senior Accounting Manager

• Lead daily accounting operations (AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, project accounting) while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls.
• Oversee month/quarter/year‑end close and produce timely, GAAP‑compliant financial statements, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, project costs, and margins; support budgeting, forecasting, and executive/Board reporting with actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax/regulatory requirements, audits, and lender requests; maintain and improve accounting policies, controls, and documentation.
• Manage, coach, and develop the accounting team while partnering cross‑functionally and driving process improvements, system integrations, and scalability initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance plus 5–8 years of progressive experience (construction or project‑based industries preferred), including 3+ years in a supervisory role; CPA/CMA a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting (WIP, job costing, accruals, retainage, progress billing).
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems (Net Suite or similar ERP) and Excel, with solid understanding of accounting workflows.
• Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment, with a problem‑solving mindset, willingness to travel as needed, and capability to work in both office and job site settings.
