The Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Baxter, MN. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The Bookkeeper will assist in preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and supporting finance-related reporting for management and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with accounting software, processing invoices and payments, tracking payroll data for entry, and maintaining organized documentation.

The role also involves collaborating with administrative and care teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

• Strong bookkeeping and journal entries (accounting) skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and basic finance concepts.
• Solid understanding of general accounting practices and compliance requirements.
• Relevant experience in healthcare, social services, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
