Oculoplastic Surgeon Build Your Practice & Become a Partner
Northern Twin Cities, Minnesota earning potential over $1m
An established, physician-owned ophthalmology group is seeking an Oculoplastic Surgeon to build and lead its growing oculoplastics service line in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities.
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial surgeon who wants more than a traditional employed position. You will have the opportunity to build your own patient base, develop the oculoplastics program, and work toward physician partnership and ownership with an independent organization that has no plans for private equity.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- $275,000 $ 300,000 guaranteed base salary
- 28% 35% production-based compensation with uncapped earning potential
- Established physicians are expected to earn $400K $450K+ 1st year
- High-performing physicians can potentially earn $600K $700K+
- No cap on earning potential
- Clear path to partnership/ownership can make $750k-$1m +
- Physician shareholders have a voice in the direction of the organization
- Dedicated procedure space that you can help customize to your practice
- ASC/surgical center access
- Potential future opportunities for optical and ASC ownership
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- CME and standard physician benefits
- Independent, physician-led practice with no private equity
The practice offers a broad range of reconstructive, functional, and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures, including:
- Blepharoplasty
- Ptosis repair
- Ectropion repair
- Eyelid lesion removal / biopsy
- Chalazion treatment / excision
- Tear-duct surgery
- Orbital surgery
- Eyelid reconstruction
- Brow procedures
- Botox and injectable fillers
Practice Model
The anticipated schedule is approximately 4.5 days per week, with approximately one day dedicated to OR/ASC cases and the remaining time focused on clinic and office-based procedures.
The practice is designed to give the physician significant opportunity to build volume, develop the service line, and maximize production.
Location
The primary location will be just north of the Twin Cities with easy access to Minneapolis and St. Paul while providing a growing suburban community with a shorter commute and excellent amenities.
Who We're Looking For
We are open to current fellows, 2027 graduates, early-career physicians, and experienced oculoplastic surgeons.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Wants to build a long-term career in the Twin Cities
- Enjoys both reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastics
- Is entrepreneurial and motivated by production
- Wants a genuine path to physician ownership
- Values clinical autonomy and physician leadership
- Wants to help build something rather than simply inherit an established practice
