Position OverviewVault Teller – Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:15 am–5:45 pm.
Pay$15.77–$23.65 per hour (location-based schedule).
Responsibilities- Receive members in person and by telephone, explaining and promoting all credit union services.
- Provide teller services and process all types of teller transactions (loan payments, withdrawals, night deposits, mail deposits).
- Handle member requests with complete accuracy and timeliness.
- Make decisions on check acceptance following established policy guidelines to reduce risk and losses.
- Comply with all federal and NCUA regulations (Reg CC, Bank Secrecy Act, Reg D, Truth in Savings).
- Receive share deposits and retrieve share withdrawals, VISA credit card payments, VISA advances, loan payments, mortgage payments.
- Refer credit‑union services that best meet member needs, including product accounts and electronic delivery channels.
- Provide official checks or money orders and redeem Savings Bonds.
- Complete CTR reports for transactions exceeding federal thresholds.
- Operate and balance coin machine, postage machine, and mail services.
- Submit checks through the Check Imaging system.
- Open and close the building daily, activate and deactivate the alarm system, and prepare day‑end reports.
- Maintain cash drawer, balance computer terminal, and account for assigned cash accurately.
- Handle day‑end balancing of inventory items and closing of VISA advances.
- Find and correct paperwork errors in a timely manner.
- Conduct member‑service functions: explain credit‑union products, cross‑sell, communicate with members regarding account usage, balance inquiries, copy requests, address changes.
