Exciting news! We are opening an outpatient imaging center in Baxter in December 2026! Come be part of our team as we continue to grow and care for those in our community. Anticipated start date September-October 2026.
The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 based on direct and relevant experience. RAYUS now offers Daily Pay! We are seeking a skilled and adaptable CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The primary responsibility of this position is performing high-quality CT examinations while also supporting the department through cross-training in MRI and providing X-ray coverage. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(90%) Patient CT Imaging
Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedureExplains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriatelyPerforms routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedureAdjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriateFollows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirementsMaintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers(5%) CT/Imaging Department Support
Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgradesMonitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessaryAssists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned
Required:High School diploma, or equivalentGraduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiographyARRT registered technologist, current and in good standingLicensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicableCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationMust have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independentlyCertification in imaging specialtyPreferred:
