Packaging Specialist – 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Penmac Staffing is hiring a 3rd Shift Packaging Specialist for a manufacturing facility in the Brainerd area. This full‑time, hands‑on role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy fast‑paced production work and take pride in quality, accuracy, and teamwork. Pay: $18+ per hour based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. Shift: 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Job type:
Full‑time, temp‑to‑hire.

• Remove finished products from an in‑line thermoforming machine as parts are produced
• Inspect parts for quality issues such as thickness, trim, holes, and color variation
• Package finished products into boxes according to customer specifications
• Tape, label, and stack completed boxes on pallets
• Verify correct quantities and complete required production paperwork
• Communicate quality concerns or equipment issues to machine operators promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Multitask effectively in a production environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with temperature variations
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety‑toed footwear
• Ability to read and understand job instructions and documentation
• Forklift certifiable
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, and use stairs throughout the shift
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 10–40 pounds repeatedly

• Full‑time, 40 hours per week
• 8‑hour overnight shifts
• Sunday through Thursday schedule
