Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This AAHA-accredited and Cat Friendly Certified practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including preventative medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgery. With a reputation for excellence and recognition as a local award-winning clinic, the hospital offers a supportive and collaborative environment for veterinary professionals.
Working Hours / RotaThe hospital is open Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, extending to 6:00 pm on Thursdays. Saturday hours are from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the hospital is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with no evening or Sunday requirements, supporting a strong work-life balance.
Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services including wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, diagnostics, and surgical procedures such as spay, neuter, and general surgeries. Dentistry is also a key focus, with opportunities to perform digital dental radiology, cleanings, extractions, and oral surgery. The role also includes providing guidance on nutrition, behavior, and parasite prevention, as well as follow-up care for chronic illness.
This role is open to experienced veterinarians.
The hospital is fully equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, an in-house laboratory, laser therapy, and advanced monitoring for anesthesia and sedation. Facilities include a spacious surgical suite and access to board-certified specialists in surgery, radiology, and cardiology when needed. Services offered cover preventative and medical care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, grooming, and client education, with a strong emphasis on low-stress handling and Fear Free approaches.
TeamThe practice is staffed by five DVMs supported by a knowledgeable and tenured support team. The culture is described as collaborative and family-like, providing a welcoming environment for both staff and clients.
Candidate Requirements- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Salary up to $175,000 (Annual)
