Job Overview

Northern Lakes Senior Living has a positive and family-like culture in a beautiful setting, located at 8186 Excelsior Road in Baxter, MN (Brainerd). Our care community hosts Assisted and Memory Care services for a total of 68 units. Managed by Ebenazer we are proud of our skilled, compassionate, and good-natured team of employees. • Serve meals and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follow the meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offer resident meal choices and meet residents’ specific dietary needs.
• Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follow the dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set‑up.
• Follow proper workflow to stay on task.
• Learn and become proficient with the EMenu System and restaurant‑style service.
• Ensure all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before shift end.
• Promote and encourage positive resident relations and satisfaction: welcome residents, initiate conversation, accommodate food substitution requests, seating changes, and respond to complaints. Refer issues to the Executive Director and Culinary Director when appropriate.

• 24 hours per two weeks
• Day/early evening shifts: 4:00 pm–7:00 pm
• Every other weekend rotation

• Less than 1 year of experience

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of experience

Individual pay rates within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
