Job Overview

Store Level Event Coordinator – Baxter, MN. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events (birthday parties, craft classes, etc.) while providing exemplary customer service and maintaining operational standards.

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate multiple events, including children’s birthdays and craft classes.
• Engage clients of all ages (4–94+) by creating a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting.
• Facilitate party add‑ons (goody bags, balloons) to company standards.
• Communicate event details with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork.
• Adjust plans and develop backup or emergency plans based on client feedback.
• Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
• Assist customers with shopping, locating products, and providing solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni‑channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, planogram (POG) processes, merchandise recovery, and store optimization tasks (SISO, AD set).
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and compliance with applicable laws.
• Act in a respectful, positive manner, serving as a role model for other team members.
• Cross‑train in custom framing selling and production.
• Participate in daily store cleanliness activities (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom maintenance).

• Energetic, enthusiastic personality capable of handling job stress and interacting effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers.
• Excellent people skills, strong written, verbal, non‑verbal communication, and listening skills.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with children and children’s events.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.

• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves via ladder or similar equipment.

Base pay $12.00–$14.10 per hour.
