Retail Apparel Associate

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Retail Apparel Associate passionate about sports, service, and teamwork. In this role, you'll engage customers on the sales floor, recommend performance apparel and footwear, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience. You'll maintain visual standards, restock and size merchandise, and support fitting room service. You will operate POS for sales and returns, follow loss prevention and safety guidelines, and collaborate with teammates to achieve sales and service goals while representing our inclusive, community-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service to athletes and shoppers on the sales floor
• Assist customers in selecting apparel, footwear, and accessories that fit sport, size, and performance needs
• Maintain merchandising standards, including stocking, sizing, folding, and visual displays
• Operate POS system accurately for sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash responsibly
• Monitor fitting rooms and sales floor to reduce shrink and ensure product security
• Stay current on product features, technologies, and brand stories to make informed recommendations
• Support store events, promotions, and community-focused initiatives
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
• Collaborate with teammates to meet sales, service, and performance goals
• Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
