As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Accountant to manage our financial operations and support smart business decisions.

Position Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of accounting best practices and experience working in a product-based or inventory-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger and financial records for all business transactions
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including vendor and client communications
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and assist with pricing and margin analysis
• Handle payroll processing, sales tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with external accountants during year-end close and audits
• Provide financial insights to help guide purchasing, pricing, and inventory decisions
• Support accounting staff and help improve financial processes as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (Bachelor degree students are encouraged to apply)
• Accounting experience, ideally in a product-based or wholesale business
• Proficiency with Quick Books (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of sales tax rules, especially across multiple states (a plus)
• Experience working with inventory systems or ERP platforms (a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
