Appraisal Coordinator
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Appraisal Coordinator will operate within Cotality's (formerly Core Logic) CMS platform serving as the primary point of contact between the residential appraisal department, internal stakeholders and approved vendors. The duties of the Appraisal Coordinator include assigning new valuation requests to qualified appraisers, processing fee modifications, and tracking orders from assignment through completion. The Appraisal Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring communication on active pipelines, following up on past‑due orders and escalating concerns to management when necessary.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring vendor service levels and identifying geographic gaps in coverage. The ideal candidate for this role requires strong communication, organizational and multi‑tasking abilities combined with basic knowledge of residential appraisal and evaluation workflow.
- Engage approved vendors and manage the residential appraisal process.
- Track due dates and follow up with vendors to ensure on‑time delivery of valuation products.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Process fee/timing modifications and obtain approvals when required.
- Communicate status updates and elevate concerns as needed.
- Manage daily administrative tasks and basic pipeline reporting.
- Perform other duties as directed by department management.
- Complete required compliance courses within the respective due date.
Required Qualifications *
- H.S. Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within Cotality’s (formerly Core Logic) CMS platform.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Associate's Degree preferred (concentration in Business, Real Estate or Finance) or 3 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Working knowledge of the CMS platform is required.
- Residential Appraisal Coordinator experience preferred.
- Effectively manage large pipelines and internal projects.
- Experience managing high volume national coverage pipeline.
- Basic understanding of residential appraisal requirements.
- Knowledge of lending operations and appraisal department policies and procedures.
- Effectively work in a team environment, also a self‑starter able to work independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high‑level of professionalism.
Starting base salary: $25.93 – $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
