About the Position
Overview
We are seeking a  Board-Certified Gastroenterologist  for a locum tenens opportunity in  Bay City, Michigan . This assignment offers a predictable weekday-only call schedule, strong hospitalist support, and access to a well-established GI practice in a scenic waterfront community with big-city amenities.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday:  7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call)

Friday:  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour call)

No weekend call

Available Coverage Blocks:

March 30, 2026 – April 3, 2026

July 27, 2026 – July 31, 2026

September 28, 2026 – October 2, 2026

December 28, 2026 – January 1, 2027

Practice Highlights

ERCP  required

Hospitalist support onsite

Two colorectal surgeons in the community

GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital

Reverse billing system (Doc Time clock-in/clock-out)

Active  Michigan medical license  (IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ when applicable)

ERCP experience (Required)

DEA active by start date
