- Feb 1, 13-16, 18, 20-21 (8p-6a) - Feb 15-16, 22, 27 (2p-12a) - Shift
Schedule:
- 6a-4p, 9a-9p, 2p-12a or 8p-6a - Patient Volume:
Total 80/day; 1.8 patients per hr - Support staff: APP 12 hrs, full ED support with nursing & tech, full radiology, full lab.
- Required Procedures:
- EM procedures - Family Med Proce/
Skills:
Adult OP, Pediatric-Gen OP, Newborn resuscitation, - Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures, Suturing of minor lacerations, Incision & Drainage, Psych-Uncomplicated adult, Psych-Uncomplicated child/adolescent, Psych-Uncomplicated geriatric, Diagnosis & mgmt of common industrial-related medical problems - Ventilation mgmt-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation, Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume/BP issues, Central & Arterial Line, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis. - EMR:
Cerner - Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
- Active MI license
- BC in EM (Or IM/FM w/ min. of 2 yrs of recent ED experience)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Clean record
- Immunizations/Vaccinations
- Local/No flight needed
