Position Summary
We are seeking a Part-time Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy services to their preferred population, as we serve children, adolescents, and adults seeking mental health and substance abuse services.
This role requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week, with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule, including two evenings (required).
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adultsDiagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practicesEstablish a positive and professional rapport with clientsWork collaboratively with the Clinical Director, CEO, and other therapists to coordinate careRefer clients to outside specialists or agencies as neededConduct ongoing assessments of client progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemEnsure high-quality, culturally competent servicesParticipate in monthly clinical meetings and supervision sessionsDeliver trainings and workshops as neededPerform other related duties as assignedAdministrative Duties
Complete all required documentation within 24 hours of each client sessionConduct quarterly assessments for assigned clientsOther administrative tasks as neededMinimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health fieldAt least 1 year of clinical experience (preferably trauma-informed)Active and current licensure in the State of Michigan, such as:- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
- LP (Licensed Psychologist)
- LLC (Limited Licensed Counselor)
- LLMSW (Limited Licensed Master Social Worker)
Preferred Qualifications
Training and experience in one or more of the following:- TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
- DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
- Brain spotting
Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday with evening availability required
