Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 12‑Hour Day Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work the 12‑hour day shift, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of daily assistance and companionship. Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and help residents with transfers and positioning
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status to nursing staff
- Support residents with eating and hydration needs, ensuring proper nutrition
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Document care provided accurately and timely in residents’ records
- Foster a respectful, compassionate, and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families
- Valid CNA certification/license in the state of employment
- Prior experience in a long‑term care or nursing home setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist residents for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices
- Flexibility to work 12‑hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
