Tasting Room Lead

Responsibilities

• Motivate and cultivate a positive work environment for staff while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Operate daily tasting room activities, including but not limited to tastings, club pickup/events, customer communications.
• Act as a professional representative and host/hostess, welcoming customers and educating them about our products.
• Guide staff in customer interactions and service, ensuring alignment with guest conversations.
• Oversee inventory management of Tasting Room cider, wine, and merchandise, including compiling weekly supply lists for operational needs.
• Actively participate in meetings with management to suggest improvements for the Tasting Room experience and discuss industry trends.
• Host small special events in the tasting room, overseeing drink/beverage service.
• Assist in marketing/sales activities outside of tasting room, such as store tastings, attending festivals/promotional events

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Experience in team management and staff scheduling in a retail or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of wines and ciders, or a willingness to learn about Two K products.
• Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and other departments to enhance the customer experience.
• Prior 4–7 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Wage compensation is based on prior work experience: $17–19 per hour, plus tips, sales commission, and performance bonuses.
