Optomi, in partnership with one of our premiere clients in the Retail industry, is looking for a Dev Ops Transformation Lead to spearhead the adoption of modern tools and processes across our Digital organization. In this role, you will dedicate 50% of your time as a Dev Ops Dojo Coach, delivering hands-on coaching and training to empower teams and elevate their Dev Ops capabilities.

Required Qualifications of the right candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise IT with roles such as Change Management Lead, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Dev Ops Engineer, or Dojo Coach.
  • Demonstrated success leading change initiatives and driving organizational development.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of Dev Ops tools, principles, and practices; experience with test automation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud development environments is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in developing training content, technical documentation, and enablement resources.
  • Experience leading initiatives or teams is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to support the rollout of new Dev Ops tools and workflows.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify resistance points and craft mitigation strategies.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials (PowerPoint, wiki pages, videos) and facilitate sessions for employees.
  • Track adoption metrics, gather feedback, and recommend process improvements.
  • Drive large-scale transformation initiatives, including planning, milestones, and progress tracking.
  • Champion a positive change culture by celebrating wins and recognizing contributions.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for teams navigating new processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to help shape long-term strategy and roadmap.
  • Spend 50% of your time as a Dev Ops Dojo Coach, providing mentorship, guidance, and training to internal teams.
