As Visteon's Senior IT Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless technology operations and empowering business success. You will be actively involved in supporting system implementations, addressing user queries, collaborating on project development, and safeguarding data security. Your mission is to drive a smooth-running, secure, and user-friendly IT environment that empowers our team and fuels business growth.
Key Objectives- Manage on-site IT Operations support for all IT Infrastructure and Operating systems including PCs, locally administered servers, workstations, network routers, network nodes, printers, scanners, etc.
- Actively participate in project coordination and delivery, translating concepts into solutions that support business goals.
- Provide expert support to users, including break-fix and troubleshooting for the site.
- Ensure adherence to all IT policies, implement secure practices, and promptly address any deviations or problems.
- Track asset management and consumption (PCs and accessories) to ensure alignment with actuals.
- Collaborate with Local HR for onboarding, IT orientation, and offboarding employees according to local IT procedures and processes.
- Assist in IT department activities and assigned projects, effectively collaborating with other IT towers and external service providers as required.
- Work flexibly and provide after-hours and weekend assistance as needed to complete projects and deliverables.
- Acts as backup/functional support to the Site Lead in Executive Support and Data Center Smart Hands
- Take ownership of all assigned requests, incidents, projects and initiatives affecting the site’s IT environment.
- Improve user satisfaction and productivity.
- Enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization.
- Comply with IT security compliance and risk analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, or equivalent courses.
- Strong technical skills in IT hardware, operating systems, and IP networking.
- Solid problem-solving troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
