Supply Chain Ops Associate – Bay City, MI.
Job DescriptionWe are immediately hiring a Supply Chain Ops Associate in Bay City, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The associate will be responsible for operational functions, independent decision making related to material availability and inventory control.
Compensation & Schedule- Pay Type:
Non‑Exempt / Salary paid weekly - Annual Salary: $50,000 per year based on experience.
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

- Follow‑up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on‑time delivery performance to support production requirements.
- Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers, providing direction regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule, including decision making on timing for supplier ship schedules.
- Track critical parts and develop/execute containment plans to ensure no interruptions or downtime to the manufacturing line, including mode and delivery window decisions to ensure continuity of production.
- Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material and request spot buys when necessary.
- Monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads for material pickup to support schedule variations and ensure proper material coverage at the lowest possible cost.
- Review part buffers to verify coverage of build requirements.
- Document and manage S and AV code exceptions, including alarm interval maintenance, determine root cause, and take appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, make adjustments where necessary, and investigate/process record adjustment requests from the previous shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One year or more administrative experience preferred.
- Five years or more relevant experience strongly recommended.
