* Job Description:
**** NIGHT SHIFT Openings $21.20 per hour. DAY SHIFT is $20 per hour.
** We are seeking a Production Tech to work nights 6pm to 6am on a 2-3-2 schedule. This is a direct hire position with fantastic benefits.
We are committed to a safe working environment and seeking someone that appreciates and contributes to safety. We offer a smaller company work atmosphere with each shift having around 20 employees.
** Job Tasks
*** Assisting operator to start up extruder
* Assisting with cleaning tasks during extruder change over
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Labeling, repackaging, sorting and recycling materials throughout the operations area
* General housekeeping and light maintenance
* Working under the direction of senior employees to move, weigh, mix, and stage materials
* Monitor process parameters, refill levels, as directed
* Working under the direction of senior operators, supporting line operating activities, by collecting samples and performing material analysis tasks (melt flow, filler, moisture checks)
** Qualifications** *(Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications)
** Minimum requirement is must be 18 years of age
* Must be able to meet the requirements of driving a forklift (Company certifies on-the-job)
* Must be able to work a 12 hour shift (Day shift is 6 am to 6 pm; Night shift 6 pm to 6 am)
** Required Skills
*** Basic mathematics
* Housekeeping* Communicates clearly from shift to shift
** Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel
*** Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
* Able to wear required PPE (minimal facial hair is allowed)
* Standing and walking continuously
* Climbing on and off a forklift frequently
* Climbing and descending stairs frequently
* Lifts/carries 20 - 50 Lbs. frequently
* Lifts/Carries 50 - 100 Lbs. occasionally with assistance
* Reaches above frequently
* Pushes/pulls occasionally
* Shift schedule is 2 days on; 2 days off; 3 days on; 2 days off – then the following week it is the opposite
