Description
Bay Cast Technologies, LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated General Laborer to support daily production operations. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying busy, and being part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency.
2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 2:45am
Key Responsibilities- General Housekeeping:
Sweep floors, clean machines, and maintain a tidy and organized workspace - Deburr Parts:
Assist machinists by removing sharp edges and finishing machined components - Prep Base plates:
Clean, handle, and prepare base plates for machining or shipment - Forklift Operation:
Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and scrap (training provided if needed) - Clean-Up & Organization:
Support shop organization efforts, including material sorting and tool placement - Safety:
Follow all shop safety procedures, use proper PPE, and help maintain a safe working environment
- Prior shop or manufacturing experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
