Supports FMCNA's mission and vision. Works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy, patient documentation, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

• Drive FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards
• Provide outstanding service to all internal and external customers
• Maintain effective relationships with timely communication
• Respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues promptly

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients
• Perform technical aspects of dialysis per prescribed treatment plans
• Monitor and document treatment parameters and patient progress
• Report significant changes, equipment problems, or incidents to the supervisor
• Develop and follow teaching plans to educate patients and families
• Assist with emergency procedures, including CPR and other lifesaving measures
• Administer intravenous medications per orders and state laws

• Safely operate dialysis equipment and emergency devices
• Perform minor troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
• Address blood spills immediately following FMNA Bloodborne Pathogen Control Policies

• Participate in staff and patient care plan meetings
• Complete in‑service training on dialysis principles and techniques
• Act as resource for other staff and coordinate care with physicians, dietitians, and social workers
• Assume additional duties as assigned

Requires frequent, prolonged periods of standing; ability to bend and lift up to 200 lbs with assistance. Work involves patient interaction, heavy lifting, and occasional travel between facilities.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN)
• Current state licensure

• Preferred: one year of medical‑surgical nursing; hemodialysis and ICU experience preferred but not required
• Must complete a hemodialysis theory and practice training course
• Must complete CPR certification
• Must complete the Nurses Technical Training Program upon hire or shortly thereafter
• Availability for coverage during short‑staffing or other needs
• Must pass Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
