PCU - 24 hours - Midnight shifts

This role is on a 34-bed telemetry floor caring for acutely ill adult patients. The RN provides safe, reliable care, participates in professional development opportunities, and works with the team to support patient outcomes. The unit supports ACLS and NIHSS certification, as well as arrhythmia/EKG interpretation training. RN ratios are 1:4 with acuity-based assignments; NA ratio is 1:8.

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to acutely ill adult patients on a telemetry floor.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assist in management of patients with chronic illnesses or acute conditions as part of ongoing care.
• Monitor telemetry data and respond according to unit protocols and patient needs.
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4) with acuity-based assignments; NA ratio 1:8.
• Engage in professional development activities, including ACLS and NIHSS certification and arrhythmia/EKG interpretation training.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
