The PACU Registered Nurse provides post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia. This role focuses on close patient monitoring, airway management, pain and symptom control, and early identification of post-operative complications while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative care team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vital signs, level of consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia
- Maintain airway patency and adequate respiratory function
- Administer medications for pain, nausea, and fluid management
- Assess surgical sites, dressings, and monitor for post-operative complications
- Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or emergency situations
- Accurately document patient care and communicate patient status to the care team
Submission Requirements:
- 2+ years of PACU experience – Required
- Active Michigan RN license at time of submission
