Job Summary

Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center is seeking experienced Nursing Assistants. Nursing Assistants are caregivers, friends, and companions to guests, providing assistance with activities of daily living and monitoring changes in mood and behavior.

• Base wages: $17.50 – $20.00 per hour (based on years of certification)
• Hero Pay: $3.40 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 – $1.50 per hour for 2nd or 3rd shift
• Yearly wage increases
• Up to $24.90 per hour on 2nd shift

• 8‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Full‑time or part‑time positions available

• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans as a guide, including bathing, skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• Document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging and promoting continued well‑being.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to the nursing team as needed.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment.

• Completed an approved Nurse Assistant training program and current CNA certification required from the State of Michigan.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting team members and completing tasks.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
