Wound Nurse Unit Manager - Full-Time

About the Role

As a Wound Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our wound care department, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the wound care team, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and evidence-based wound care.

  • Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments as needed.

  • Staff

    Education:

    Deliver in-service training and education to staff members on wound care best practices and protocols.

  • Quality Improvement: Analyze and improve wound care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.

  • Pay Rate: Based on experience, starting at $40/hour.

Requirements
  • Current RN license with current certification in wound care (WCC or CWOCN) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.

  • Previous experience in wound care, with a strong background in patient care and leadership.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
