Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Evenings)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment i n Bay City, MI .

  • 12 hr days 36 hours guaranteed

    Note:

    Will accept 48 hours guaranteed, OT will kick in after 48.
  • Start Date: 6/29/2026
  • Contract: 13 weeks
  • Location: Bay City, MI
  • Hourly Pay: $ 30.25
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $2062.75
  • Weekend Requirements:
    Request at least 2 from each shift work every other weekend
  • Dress Code
    - Navy Blue

    - Cerner
  • Travel Policy:
    Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.

    12 hours
  • Ratios- ICU (1:2 / 1:1 special populations)
  • Step down (1:4 )
  • ED - same as above when caring for holds.
Collaborates with physician to provide a plan of care that will return the patient to optimal health. Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders. Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk and Psychiatric Tech functions. Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of care plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for a leadership role encompassing:
  • Integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice.
  • Delegation and coordination of tasks and assignments of nursing care.
  • Facilitates/participates in patient conferences.
  • Identifies and provides the means to meet patients’ ongoing and discharge/transfer teaching needs by communicating with the appropriate resource persons and attending discharge/transfer planning conferences.
  • Assumes the responsibility for professional growth by seeking out educational opportunities and utilizing programs in the hospital or elsewhere in the community.
  • Teaches and/or guides professional and ancillary personnel.
  • Precepts/mentors new employees and students.
  • Functions as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and delegation of assignments.
  • 2. Communicates relevant information in a manner that is understandable and effective.
  • 3. Shows organizational skills through effective planning.

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
  • Must have 2+ Years of ICU experience
  • Comfortable with Floating to ED and Step down is required
  • TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN valid documents are desired
  • Travel Experience is preferred
  • Neuro surgical experience is preferred
  • Must have ACLS certification
  • Must have NIHSS certification
  • Must have BLS certification
  • Must have a valid Michigan State License.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
