Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Bay City, MI

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout the hospital stay
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapies, and manage wound care or specialized equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies escalate

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience (required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)

• Work within a large, established acute care facility offering a wide range of specialty services including cardiovascular, neuroscience, oncology, and more
• Gain experience in a high-volume environment serving a regional population across a broad geographic area
