American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on nights, requiring an active MI license and 2 years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department setting providing round-the-clock emergent care for minor to severe injuries and illnesses
• 10-bed unit with patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Every third weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Blue scrubs required

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, PALS (ENPC accepted in place of PALS), TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA)

• Coordinate total nursing care for ED patients including patient and family education
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members to maintain professional nursing standards
• Uphold ANA Code for Nurses and adhere to State of Michigan Public Health Code and relevant regulatory standards (AOA, HCFA, MIOSHA)
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to a rate adjustment
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
