American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department role requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active MI licensure.

• Emergency Department setting providing around-the-clock emergent care
• 10-bed unit treating patients from newborn to geriatric
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC

• Coordinate total nursing care for ED patients including assessment, treatment, and family education
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to maintain professional nursing standards
• Uphold ANA Code for Nurses and adhere to Michigan Public Health Code and MIOSHA regulations
• Dress code requires blue scrubs
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers
